This is a stunning image and an obvious choice for the finals of the Bay Life Photographic Competition 2014. There is something quintessential about the work. To capture the Bay in all its glory panoramically, but still retain its sense of human scale and peace and solitude that a connection with the beach landscape can engender, as anyone will know, is actually more difficult to photograph that might seem immediately obvious. In this image, there is a good argument that its essence has been documented.
