The floods and gales of the Winter of 2013-14 threw up all kinds of treasures from the sea. Here the spikes of an old groyne appeared. Like a forest exposed from thousands of years ago what has been brought up makes for an intriguing possibility with a camera study. Here the image, framed tight, beautifully captures the mystery of the occasion. The spikes, trailing like foot soldiers, seem to have suddenly emerged from the sea.
