An intriguing image. There is something enchanting about the way in which the composition draws you into the picture with its elements of water, land and sky. The ‘painterly’ effect is captured by the photographer entirely by the position from which the image has been shot and the time of day at which it was shot.  It is a local scene framed in interesting and unique way that carries with it something of the spirit of the legends for which Sussex is known. Are we looking at a gateway into old Albion?
