This image was judged to be both original and interesting. Many shots of the locality involve beach scenes. This image takes a completely different approach, simply choosing to capture sunlight through the lens of a bus shelter in the Eastbourne Road. 65% of the population of Pevensey Bay are aged over 65. Public transport provides a vital link in their lives, as does the Sun. This image captures both of these aspects of their lives in a uniquely framed shot.
