Ever popular business figure in Pevensey Bay, Pevensey Pete, who runs the successful, community focused, Pevensey Pete’s Laundry Services, gives an account of the night he won a back stage pass to the Stones gig in Southampton  on 29 May. This first post as a business columnist with Bay Life is the start of a series of  short pieces about “Local business life, the universe and every spin”. In Pevensey Bay, the posts on his Facebook business page and positive approach to community business and faith in people has lit all our lives for a number of years.

Pevensey Pete Gets stoned Again!!
Mick sung about ‘Satisfaction’ I certainly had my share last night (29 May) as the Stones rocked St Mary’s (Southamptoon).

I attended this show on a £30 lucky dip ticket I’d secured by fan club email a right time right place scenario.

Upon arrival I made my way to the box office to collect the afore mentioned ticket to my delight I’d secured a decent seat.

With time to spare I looked around had a bite to eat and paid a visit to the Jeep stand (Current Stones Sponsors) they were doing an iPad questonnaire and offering little treats as prizes.

The BIG one was a backstage pass and to my utter amazement I won it the Jeep Girl screamed out “He’s Won”.

I was taken backstage by Bobo the Stones guardian and spent an hour being shown around Charlie’s drums Keith & Ronnies guitars and micks quick change costume hideout.

Unfortunately strictly no pictures were allowed..It was a truly brilliant evening and the set was 5 songs different to the London show I attended last week.
