We would like to announce that we have made it in to the top ten for cafe of the year with the Eastbourne Herald. We would like to thank everybody for taking their time for voting for us. The next voting days are the 7th & 14th of December. With love from everybody at ocean view .
Ocean View Bakery and Restaurant, Pevensey Bay, 30 November 2018

A second cafe in the locality has announced that they may made the grade in the Eastbourne Herald Cafe of the Year Competition.

The Ocean View and Bakery and Restaurant in Pevensey Bay is now also in the running to be cafe of the Year in the local competition..

The news follows the post by the Caste Cottage Tea Room (28 November) in Pevensey that they have made the top ten.

Proof, as two communities, that we have some of the best establishments for food service in this corner of Sussex.

The two announcements are a credit not just to all hard work with food service and smiles that comprise the cafe services here in Pevensey and Pevensey Bay but also all the hard work, day in and day out, in our cafes to welcome residents and visitors to this hidden corner in the crown of Sussex.

Well done to all the staff in the two cafes. The competition is an interesting take on the slice of life here that gives residents and visitors so much pleasure as they discover and know both cafes.
