News today (28 November) that the Green Party is about to set up an active presence in Pevensey
Bay Life understands that a meeting at the Priory Court Hotel in December has been organised as part of a move to see the Party and its work profiled in the area.
Talking to Bay Life today, organiser Helen Burton told us, ‘I thought you might like to know about an event I’m organising in Pevensey! It’s a get together of the Rother, Wealden and Eastbourne Green Party and anyone interested in Green issues”
“The meeting is to be held on Dec 15th 8:00pm-10:30pm.Tea, coffee and alcohol will be available”.
Helen added, ‘should be a nice evening meeting fellow Greens, anyone interested also welcome’.
“It’s the first meeting if its kind locally. Issues to be discussed will include protecting the NHS, stopping fracking, social justice and green issues”.
