On Monday October 3, Wealden District Council is inviting everyone aged 25 or under to the third Wealden Works Careers Fair at the East Sussex National Hotel in Uckfield (TN22 5ES) between 9:30am and 3pm. And it’s FREE!—Wealden District Council, 16 September 2016

“With so many different options available for young people today, it can be difficult to know the best pathway for each individual so I’m delighted that the Wealden Works Careers Fair can help,” said Councillor Roy Galley, Cabinet Member for Economic Development. “With 15 new exhibitors and nearly 40 exhibitors overall, this year’s Wealden Careers Fair will be even better than before. It is open for all young people from the District to come along and get some guidance and advice.”

In attendance will be representatives from the public sector, local and national companies, charities and further education organisations to offer help and advice on potential careers, training and apprenticeships. All secondary schools from across Wealden have been invited to attend.

Alongside the exhibition, Wealden District Council is working with East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service to highlight important aspects of road safety as part of their current campaigns with young drivers.

For more information please contact the Wealden District Council Community & Regeneration Team by phoning 01323 443266 or emailing

The careers fair is sponsored by Sussex Downs College and Waitrose.
