Bexhill & Battle Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for The Brexit Party

Firstly may I say a massive thank you the residents of Pevensey Bay, Pevensey, Westham and Stone Cross for the warm and friendly reception given to me and my team when we have been campaigning locally.

The decision in this General Election now is the same as it was back in June 2016. It is a binary choice between either to Leave or Remain in the EU.

If you want to take back control, stop outsourcing decision making to a foreign place, retain independence over our military defenses, continue with our independent currency, be able to determine how and who we trade with and how many can come to our shores then the answer is simple.

What Remainers will never admit is that to revoke Article 50 will result in us having to join the Euro currency and embrace tax harmonisation across all member states.

As the second largest net contributor to the EU budget we would be facing considerable annual increases in our contributions year on year and with the EU still wishing to see its boundaries expanding into the Balkans we would be facing an exponential bill to support those new entrants.

Charity begins at home and many people in the UK are already paying a very high price for our EU membership. Our elderly, our children’s education, our health services and our national infrastructure are all groaning under a severe lack of investment whilst we continue to give away billions every year.

I hope like me you believe that our future is best served by leaving the EU, just as the majority of us decided over three years ago, and vote for the only party that truly believes in an independent future where we can be free to exercise our own decisions and uphold our parliamentary sovereignty, that is not for sale.

My best wishes,

Michelle Buxton
