Shout out in support—
A shout out in support of the poor lads manning the stop go boards. They were there in the pouring rain yesterday. I was amused by the hand that appeared out of a tent to turn the board around. I think they’re doing a sterling job under very difficult and hostile circumstances and we should praise them rather than berate them. I’ve been through everyday with very little delay. It’s not the closure that is annoying it’s thoughtless drivers. Keep up the good work lads!
Daniel, Beachlands

Gas Network Upgrade Diary
Throughout the eight weeks work by SGN and East Sussex Highways to upgrade the gas network in Coast Road, Pevensey Bay, as part of a £624,000 project, we will be offering a diary account of each day based on communications with residents, SGN and East Sussex Highways. We are receiving upwards of 30 communications a day and the choice about what to include for our diary is based on some key points that we see for the day. The diary pieces will appear both online and in our newspaper Bay Life the Journal, issue 6 soon to be available in local newsagents.—Bay Life, 1 November 2016
