Gas Network Upgrade Diary
Throughout the eight weeks work by SGN and East Sussex Highways to upgrade the gas network in Coast Road, Pevensey Bay, as part of a £624,000 project, we will be offering a diary account of each day based on communications with residents, SGN and East Sussex Highways. We are receiving upwards of 30 communications a day and the choice about what to include for our diary is based on some key points that we see for the day. The diary pieces will appear both online and in our newspaper Bay Life the Journal, issue 6 soon to be available in local newsagents.—Bay Life, 1 November 2016

DAY 1—Tuesday 1 November
The Stop Go Day and note in the margin to Pevensey Parish Council

Steve Colvin—Project Manager
3:00pm: Will be attending meeting with Pevensey Parish Council this evening to give account about what is happening and answer questions about project.

BAY LIFE DIARY NOTE: This is the first of a number of community liaison meetings with key local organisations, promised by SGN on October 21 in a media release, the company is keeping to their promise.

Sarah and Steve Dell
6:05pm: Just been through from coast road one stop and go board at the caravan park then nothing until you get to the line gates. You can’t see the stop and go board from there in the dark as he is standing on the other side of the gates. The poor man said everyone had told him that but there was nothing he could do!
