Cliff and Jane celebrate their retirement from Whites Newsagents, Coast Road, in style yesterday (Saturday 28 June) after 30 years sterling service in Pevensey Bay.  With a full blown mock up from the Daily Mail that features them centre stage with the headline ‘Free At Last’, they bow out from the 5am starts, 7 days a week. The headline reads ‘ As Rebekah Brooks is cleared, ‘hacked’ off newsagents, Cliff and Jane see their life sentences cut short’, with a picture of Cliff inserted into a space top right as part of the article billing!!!!! The popular couple have played a full part in community life throughout the time that they have been in the Bay and we wish them well in their retirement.

Thanks for what has been such a fabulous service over so many years!!!!
