The Movies in the Bay team at Pevensey Bay Baptist Church are promising another fun filled programme with their monthly offering in their sequence of films for the community.

Coming in May we have ‘Honey I Shrunk the Kids’ with their Friday in the Movies Day in the Bay, followed in the evening for all the Mums and Dads and aficionados of the Star Wars franchise of the very first Star Wars film.

Fab. Film Friday at the Baptist church has become a sequence of days that are just so good for the profile of Pevensey Bay. Real community work. Real people. Real fun. Many congratulations for all the efforts that have been put in by Melita Cullis, and to all the people involved.

The work is a brilliant and innovative contribution to community life in Pevensey Bay.

Melita comments today (26 April), “hello movie in the Bay fans … coming soon is HONEY I SHRUNK THE KIDS ….and STAR WARS the very earliest one …may the 13th xxx pictures of a shrunk child coming and may be melita as darts vader lol”

Even without a belief in God we can still share a thought that we are sure will be applauded by people in the community. May the force be with you Melita.

There is no charge to see the films, and we are reliably informed that there are refreshments like tea and coffee and popcorn at the events, for which donations are gratefully received.

Honey I Shrunk the Kids will be shown at 4:00pm, to be followed by Star Wars at 7:30pm, both films will be shown on Friday 13 May 2016, at the Baptist Church in the Eastbourne Road in Pevensey Bay. Further details here by joining the Movies in the Bay Group.
