Pevensey Timeline Association
16 March 2015

From shifting geological landscapes to the agricultural changes that have shaped Sussex, the talks of Dr. Geoffrey Mead have lit a spark with local historical research that has ignited interest amongst residents from across our communities

Today (Monday 16 March) it is time for the Castle and Cottages to take centre stage in the 800 year old setting of St. Nicolas Church. Members of the Pevensey Timeline Association, their friends and family, all welcome. The talks to date have seen over 130 people take a pew to find out more about Pevensey and its rich history.

Six new entries on the Pevensey Timeline, all written by student residents that have opted to take the tuition to discover more about the research methodologies linked to the timeline, are ready to be published this week.

With week 46 of the project underway and the Whale of a Tale being talked about as our first foray to see the Pevensey Timeline project recognised nationally, it is proving to be a busy month with the two thousand year timeline that tells the story of Pevensey and its rich history.
