“Whatever way the poll goes the Council must know it is morally wrong (if nothing else) to go ahead”, argue the campaigners.
Sally Boys, a Meads resident said “Now that we know that the Council have let the people of Eastbourne down again by insisting that the poll in the Eastbourne Review is a fair consultation, the campaigners will continue with their high public profile. That’s why we’ve organised a rally on Saturday”.
The Rally goes from Bankers Corner, Terminus Road at 2:00pm (Saturday 25 February) and marches to the Bandstand where there will be speakers.
