District Council commemorates Holocaust Memorial Day: The affect on the life of one family in the Wealden area

How the Holocaust affected the family of one man in the Wealden area

Wealden District Council is commemorating Holocaust Memorial Day, January 27, with a display of photographs in the foyer of the Council’s Hailsham offices and a short video of how the Holocaust affected one Wealden man’s family. The display and video can be seen on Friday 26 January and Monday 29 January. The video can be also seen on Council’s Youtube page https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vo6G7fcu4us&feature=youtu.be.

The theme of this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day is The Power of Words. January 27 marks the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.
