A date for your diary—Saturday December 6th
Pevensey is holding a Dickens evening from 4 pm onwards. At 5pm a procession will make its way along the street which will be lined with stalls, street entertainment etc-plenty of parking. Lots for children including pony and trap rides to meet Father Christmas in his grotto. In the grounds of The Priory Court hotel will be a carousel for the kids- hot dogs and burgers, mulled wine and mince pies in the tearoom which will be turned into a bar for the evening-come along and see us!!! It will also be raising money for St. Wilfrids Hospice.
Please note : The High street will be closed to through traffic from the Smugglers pub to Castle lane in Westham from 1600 to 2100.
