Contribution from Pevensey Coastal Defence limited: Defibrillator now at the Information Centre in Sea Road Car Park

Pevensey Parish Council has been very lucky to receive a contribution from Pevensey Coastal Defence limited to purchase a defibrillator which has been installed at the Information Centre in Sea Road Car Park. This is vital piece of equipment to help save lives in an event of a cardiac arrest .

It is important that we make as many people possible  aware of the defibrillator and its location.

The device is registered with South East Coast Ambulance trust and is available for use 24/7 by the public in the event of a medical emergency.

For safety, the defibrillator is in a locked cabinet. However, when dialling 999 South East Coast Ambulance Services will be able to provide the location and code to open it.
