A ‘knit and natter club’ at the Aqua Club in Pevensey Bay is celebrating success

News has emerged today (December 10) that the venture, which bills itself as ‘a club for crafters’, has proved to be a hit.

Talking to Bay Life, organiser, Christine Maderson told us; ‘”the first one went very well, meeting new friends and socialising. We had a mini fashion show of our finished garments, with some amazing customised outfits”.

Impressed at the quality of skills in the locality, she added “there are some very talented ladies in Pevensey Bay.  Lots of useful advice was exchanged on our current projects”.

One interesting feature of the new club is the collaborative nature of decision making about the way in which the informal classes will develop. “The ladies decided they wanted a crochet workshop on 17th December, where we will be teaching crochet on a one to one basis”.

Christine asked readers of Bay Life to note that the meet on the 17th of December will be that last one this year and that the crafters friendship club will re-commence on 7 January.
