First banner proudly on display: You wait for one new local business and then three come along at once

The first of these businesses has had their banner proudly on display since today (Monday 26 November).

You can read our special launch feature this Friday, about the new hair salon, Harper Hair co. at 37 Eastbourne Road, here in the heart of the gateway small parade of shops as people come in to the village.

The new hair salon today looked sleek and spacious with a beautiful arrangement of class furniture, shape and curves in a cool classic black, with some neat little personal touches and most importantly, plenty of space.

Shop banner designers, local success story Bay Designs commented today “we have made and fitted these from the customers designs for a new hair salon in #pevenseybay Pop along and see them when they open next week”.

Business in the Bay seems to be taking a turn towards some new owners and ideas.

Later this week we will reveal something about a business that is to change hands and offer some new treats amongst some established service favourites.

Over in Pevensey, plans are already underway with a new education business.

As we revealed (Saturday 24 November), the new pre-school education enterprise is to be titled the Little Castle Nursery.

The business plans to take over the running of the current pre-school at The Memorial Hall, Pevensey, which closes on December 18.

Ofsted must now approve the business and plans, which will take a number of months

Plans for the new pre-school include a possible launch around Easter 2019.

New owner, Natash Smith, told us in Saturday that she ‘plans to have a website online soon”.
