Classic Bublé, Ian Gallagher, the new swing experience at the Bay Hotel, has sold out.

The new monthly shows have got off to a kicking start as the event has sold out with weeks.

Talking to the Pevensey Bay Journal today (15 February), manager of the Bay Hotel, Karen Hudson said, “we have sold out and we are now planning to have similar style events every month and we have already got plans for next month’.

The Bay Hotel which is going through a major restoration process is seing scaffolding going up this week as the first stage in the process. Talking last week, Karen said “We would like to keep all our customers old and new updated about the story of The Bay Hotel as it returns to its origins. The external works begin next week, please note the car park will be closed from Monday 11th Feb. but we will be open for business as normal. Your support and patience over the next few weeks would be gratefully appreciated”.

Beginning at 7:30pm on Saturday 16 February, Classic Bublé, Ian Gallagher, the new swing experience, looks set to provide residents and visitors with an interesting evening of entertainment and a lounge style eating experience. On the menu also is a three course Italian meal. The evening costs £20:00 (£5:00 deposit required).

Ian Gallagher is described as ‘one of the area’s best tribute acts’.

Ian was born in London, but at an early age went to live in Santa Barbara, California USA with his parents until the age of seven.

At the age of eleven and having returned to the UK, he started taking singing lessons with four different singing teachers. Ian’s big break came when he auditioned with the Ray Shields Orchestra and appeared in the blockbuster film “Yanks” featuring Richard Gere. Ian was chosen for the part out of 400 other competing singers. The movie was a great success, taking 4 months to film and he sang with an 18 piece band, which he greatly enjoyed.

He has performed live at the famous London Palladium, The Talk Of The Town and The Savoy. He was the only male vocalist to perform to the British Troops during the Gulf War. He has also performed live at Buckingham Palace in a charity concert. Ian Gallagher has toured extensively in Great Britain, Europe, Far East and USA.
