An unabashed celebration of the sixties comes to the Congress Theatre, Eastbourne this summer when Carnaby Street – The Concert heads to town on 14 June.

What if The Beatles, The Who, The Stones, The Kinks and The Searchers all played in the same place?Well they did in the 60’s and now they’re about to do the same, only this time all on the same night!

Join the incredible cast members of this celebrated show as they perform the great songs from the 60’s in full costume for “One Night in the Marquee”, the famous 60’s club and birthplace of The Who, Manfred Mann and The Moody Blues.

Featuring an amazing 6-piece band, led by an array of fantastic singers and including 30 classic hits such as;Shout, My Generation, Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood, Sweets For My Sweet, Roll Over Beethoven, Go Now, Keep On Running, I Only Want To Be With You, Do Wah DiddyDiddy, Twist And Shout, 54321, We’ve Gotta Get Out Of This Place, Do You Love Me? and many more.

Carnaby Street – The Concert features the incredible hits of a decade that brought you the best rock and roll music of all time and is based on Carnaby Street The Musical.

The UK dominated the world with a musical explosion that saw the birth of Beatlemania, The Mersey Beat and The British Invasion. UK acts dominated the charts worldwide and the music captured not just an era but an expression of an entire generation. They say if you can remember the Sixties then you weren’t really there, so if you need a reminder, or if you just love the music of this classic era this is the show for you.
