We would like to take the opportunity to thank those of you who were able to come to our family fun day that took place on the 3rd August to celebrate the reopening of Langney Shopping Centre. The event had a fantastic turnout and we are pleased that so many people came to show their support.
As you may be aware the extension of the eastern end of Langney Shopping Centre was given planning consent, on Tuesday 6th August 2013, by Eastbourne Borough Council’s Planning Committee.
The approved plans will create nine new retail units, including a large anchor store at the eastern end of the centre to mirror the existing Tesco supermarket. Currently negotiations are underway with a number of national retailers who are interested in taking the space in the new extension.
We are very pleased that our proposals to extend Langney Shopping Centre have been approved, we thank you for your patience and support over the last nine months in restoring the centre back to use, and we look forward to the new extension improving the retail offering in Langney, and attracting more shoppers and new tenants.
