active-days

Whilst with one of my customers recently we got chatting about what he did before retirement.

It turns out he has lots of skills in carpentry, many that are rarely seen these days but important to keep alive. Through my partner I learnt about a place called The Eastbourne Shed Project.

I passed the information on to my customer and he is going this week. Not only will it help him meet new people he can pass his skills on to others.

I also introduced another couple of customers to each other and they now meet up on a regular basis to talk about engineering they used to do. People can get lonely or bored so it’s important we all do what we can to help. It’s not just for men, women can go to.
