Duke and Duchess of Sussex: News of job offer goes viral down the Wallsend End, in Pevensey Bay, East Sussex

In news that is likely to go viral all the way down the Wallsend End, in Pevensey Bay, East Sussex, and is something that will astonish even agog royal watchers across the country with the daily diet of latest revelations about splits in the Royal family, comes an extraordinary offer

Into the heady mix, comes a job offer that may be about to break new ground in the complex set of negotiations that are taking place behind palace doors about what to do next with the Royal crisis.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, now becoming more commonly known through the day as plain Harry and Meghan, have been offered jobs at a local laundry service in Pevensey Bay.

We publish the full text of the offer from local man, Pevensey Pete, who runs the highly successful Pevensey Pete’s’ Laundry Service in the Bay.

If we receive a response from Harry and Meghan, through their new website founded in Canada, we will be happy to publish what they have to say.

What Pevensey Pete had to say with his offer put a smile on our faces this morning. We hope that the offer will also put a smile on the faces of our readers.

In the very remote possibility that this offer reaches the eyes of Harry and Meghan, in what has been such a difficukt week for them, we hope that the offer will put a smile on the faces of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as well.

Pevensey Bay
Friday 10 January 2020
Job offer: Duke and Duchess of Sussex

Dear Harry and Meghan,

At Pevensey Pete’s Laundry Services we are always on the lookout for talented individuals who we think could enhance our famous company, and it has come to our attention that you are currently looking for opportunities to become ‘financially independent’ after stepping back from royal duties.

Therefore, we would like to formally offer you both employment at our laundry, assisting with the day to day running of our extremely busy establishment. We’d even love Archie to come along and head up our new nappy cleaning service.

We know that you intend to relocate to North America, but settling down in Pevensey Bay has many advantages over the USA or Canada. First of all, we don’t have many bears or raccoons over here, and more importantly you could still enjoy a rural lifestyle while knowing that your grandparents’ place is only 90 minutes away by train and tube.

We can even get the council to close a beach for you if you are worried about security while taking a dip in our local sea.

If you wish to proceed, we just need references and proof of your eligibility to work in the UK.

Yours excitedly,
Pevensey Pete
