Buyer found

Bay Life believes that a buyer has been found for the Catholic church, The Holy Rood, Castle Drive Pevensey Bay.

A number of key sources within the commercial property network have offered comments to us about the matter, including the suggestion that a buyer has been found.

As soon as we are in a position to provide further details, we will publish what information is available to us.

When contacted for comment, Graves Jenkins, the estate agents responsible for the sale, told us today (January 12), “Holy Rood offers a fantastic opportunity to a prospective buyer. The location and size of the site make it a wonderful proposition. After a short period of marketing Graves Jenkins received multiple offers from various buyers”.

Comments have started to come in to the Bay Life social media feed. Wendy Cornwell said, “I love this church building, I couldn’t imagine this view without the church.. didn’t know it was listed as “commercial” site. Fingers x it will have a lovely building built on its site if the church is knocked down.

She added, “it’s a beautiful building and has been here so many years and a beautiful view which would be changed forever”.
