Interest is growing in the community as the Little Castle Nursery prepares to open at the Memorial Hall in Pevensey.

The new nursery, which is stepping into the gap left by the sudden closure of two previous pre-schools within a year in 2018, is being welcomed by parents, according to new manager. Natasha Smith.

Talking to the Pevensey Bay Journal on Tuesday (26 February), owner of the Little Castle Nursery, Natasha said, “We are really excited. Lots of bookings from parents, and some from previous parents”.

She also runs a preschool in Hellingly.

She explained that some of her staff from Hellingly will be coming to help at the new venture and that some parents had taken up her offer to go to Hellingly to see what was on offer.

Nursery Owner Natasha Smith has been a qualified Nursery Practitioner since 1994. Managing various sized settings for 24 years, she has completed many qualifications including a degree in Early Years before moving on to become an Early Years Improvement Officer for the Local Authority. She is also a mum to 3 children.

The nursery opens on Monday 4 March and there is to be an Open Day on Saturday 16 March.

Natasha confirmed that she is to take up an offer to promote the services of the Little Castle Nursery for a year on the Bay Life web platform and in the Pevensey Bay Journal.
