With their round of festive gigs coming to an end, VOICES choir have had the time to tot up the profit from their Christmas Concert held at Eastbourne Town Hall on Friday (December 13).

The result is a fabulous £1140 which will be shared between Chestnut Tree Children’s Hospice, and Alzheimer’s UK.

Voices Daytime choir will be opening on 9th January at Pevensey Bay Baptist Church 12.30-2.00, and is looking for new members. Diana Terry, Choir Director, tells us “there are many people who don’t want to go out in the evening, or are unable to, so this choir is especially for them.”

There are also a few spaces open for new members in the Eastbourne weds night choir and just a couple of spaces in the Thurs night Pevensey bay choir, both from 7-9.

VOICES has a real community spirit, and works tirelessly for charities all year round.

There are no auditions, no need to read music, but FUN is guaranteed. Pop, rock, songs from the musicals etc, but NO classical songs are the repertoire. Singing is good for the health, and uplifts the spirit like nothing else, so join VOICES choir, and start 2014 on the right note!
