We spotted this message posted by new owner of the Bay Hotel here in Pevensey Bay, Karen Hudson, this morning, on social media. The work being done with the profile of the hotel is interesting and well thought out, and also of sustainable value to Pevensey Bay, in our view. Here we repost her message and offer our response,—Bay Life, 25 July 2017

Bay Hotel—
This grand old pub with rooms may be a little jaded but our rooms are spotless our white linen crisp our towels fluffy and all rooms on suite

Bay LIfe—
Fab post, tell it like it is. The grand old dame of Peveney Bay is a hotel to make us proud, and looks very much with your work, is being returned to a rightful place here in the heart of the community

Bexhill has the De La Warr Pavilion, “established in 1935 and modern ever since”, as their new strapline about the matter, created by an advertising company on their behalf.

Pevensey Bay has the Bay Hotel. The Bay Hotel goes back to 1899, but established as a hotel in a ground breaking meeting in 1936

What we really need in Pevensey Bay is for the fabulous character of the place to be promoted in exactly the way that you are doing. Love the comment about the spotless rooms now and the fluffy towels.

Fab line, maybe could be used as the strapline for the hotel!! Perhaps we will be seeing this line in the next few weeks.

Not an advertising agency in sight, just the work of new owners of the Bay Hotel, and exactly the right work and approach for us here in Pevensey Bay.

“established 1936, and a pub with rooms ever since”
