Thank you for the contributions

Thank you to everyone that has contributed to our community coverage of the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Saturday 19 May 2018.

An announcement was made prior to the ceremony that the modern royal electric e-type jaguar loving couple are to be the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex, a title not in use since 1841.

The photograph chosen to capture the spirit of Pevensey Bay yesterday, by Bay Life photographer Chris Racher, was shot at the Aqua Club buffet lunch.

The photograph is titled The Gospel according to St. George and Etta James
Red, White and Blue, The people of Pevensey Bay celebrate the Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

This photograph will appear as a back page feature in the latest edition of the Pevensey Bay Journal, with the commentary written by Melita Cullis, organiser of the event at the Aqua Bar, together with the lyrics of Stand By Me, written by Stephen King, Ben E. King, arrangement by Etta James

Stand By Me was sung by The Kingdom Choir, gospel leader Karen Gibson, inside Windsor Chapel at the wedding ceremony
