38 Degrees Live brings supporters and members of the public together for a fun, lively evening exploring the stories of local heroes and the work of leading authors, artists and innovators.

We’ll start things off with a talk by Indra Adnan & Pat Kane, co-founders of ‘The Alternative’, an exciting new initiative that’s aiming to use arts & culture to transform the language and practice of our politics. Together in groups we’ll discuss how to implement some of their ideas here in Eastbourne. Then we’ll move on to the ‘Lightning Local Stories’ round – where we’re hear about stories for people right here in Eastbourne that are making the world a better place at a grassroots level.
