Street Learning, who provide FREE courses for anyone aged 19 or over from Wealden or Eastbourne, has announced a new programme for Spring featuring a variety of new courses as well as returning favourites.—Wealden District Council, 24 March 2107

“The Street Learning courses have been a tremendous success, providing a fantastic opportunity for jobseekers and anyone wanting to learn a new skill,” said Councillor Roy Galley, Cabinet member for Economic Development.

“As it’s nearly Spring I’m delighted to see new courses for active outdoors pursuits. There are also Dementia Friend sessions to help spread awareness and understanding and to get people to think about what they can do to make their local community more dementia friendly.

I also welcome the addition of a course on safety from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.”

Courses are on offer from April to July 2017 and are run across Wealden and Eastbourne. Bookings are made directly with the providers and some can be arranged at timings to suit you.
