Pevfest, the Big Day Out in the Bay for all the Family, this year takes place on Saturday July 23.
Following a number of successful days in past years, including Pevfest 2010, widely regarded as the best to date, the annual event has gathered for itself a local reputation as a fun day out not to be missed.
This year, for the first time, a site dedicated to the Day is under development. Already live, the site will feature all the news about bands playing, venue information, together with background information, reviews and comment and a picture gallery. Details of the charities that will benefit from the Big Day Out in the Bay for all the Family will also form part of the presentation.
Designed and developed by the team behind Bay Life, the site will also give opportunities for the first time to local businesses to promote Pevfest online and enjoy the publicity from the web traffic to the platform. Last year, a section of Bay Life was dedicated to Pevfest 2010. On the day, this part of the site recorded nearly 1,000 page views.
All the proceeds from pevfest.co.uk are being donated to the Pevfest team, to be distributed to the nominated charities for the Day.
