Our aims are “to encourage the provision of improved public transport for the benefit of local residents as a whole, including the establishment and operation of a community transport service and to provide and keep under review, a community transport service for such of the inhabitants of the civil parishes of Westham and Pevensey who are in need of such a service because of age, sickness or disability (mental or physical), or poverty, or because of a lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger services”.

We were incorporated on 13 November 2007, Westham & Pevensey Local Transport Partnership (WPLTP) is company no 6425892, limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales.

We are run entirely by local volunteers in conjunction with Cuckmere Community Bus, Queen’s Award winners.

All WPLTP drivers are regularly tested using MIDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme), in addition they are all CRB checked.
